Sohbat

Everyone is a holy one, very holy. Your heart is very holy. You find Allah in it. You will find Allah, subhana wa ta’ala. He was saying: „Nothing can contain Me in these heavens and the earth except one thing. I created it like this.“ And what is it? It is the heart of the mu’min.

The love of Allah melts away everything. But psychologists want to make money, of cause. They say, “We must bring all of this up, it has to come up, you have to process it. You must process it. If you go crazy while processing, then we will give you a pill and that costs that much again, and then …“ — No, if earth is on it and it is buried, let it be. That is a grace from Allah, that you can forget.

We are here to celebrate Mawlid an-Nabi. The birth of Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, his birthday, is the one, which is most worthy to be celebrated of all — of the whole creation, of all creatures. There are some Shaytan people, they are saying, it is not. What do they say?

Follow the model of the companions — they had a teacher. It still exists today. It hasn’t changed. The model, and the Sunnah of Allah, which He has given us, has given to people, has not changed — and will not change. You will always have someone who leads, and who is the bearer of news. In our time, he is a Sheikh, a Murshid. And he has the same function as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

We are in this holy time of Rabi al-Awwal. And as we said, it is a time to revive our hearts and to be revived for the love of Prophet, for the love of Allah Almighty. And it means also for those — or for us, or for me — who have bad qualities: „I have to work on  these bad qualities. I have to watch them and to learn to correct them and to learn to control my ego.“ That is important and this month is helping us to work on this.

Everything that brings us together here is love. Because Mawlana Sheikh Nazim was saying that every existing thing is (existing) out of love. Every existing thing is out of love — existing out of Allah’s love — because otherwise it wouldn’t be in existence. It’s only in existence through Him, through His holy name Ya Wadud, he said.

If you know Him, then you will love Him. Whichever attribute you recognize — or reflect —, you then reflect love, you reflect mercy, you reflect generosity, you reflect all 99 Beautiful Names and beyond that thousands of names and ultimately endless names. They settle in your heart, they are reflected there.

We humans exist to know Allah. For He, jalla jalaluhu, says: “I was a hidden treasure and wanted to be known. That is why I brought creation into being.” And for that, you need sincerity. It is a quality that belongs to it (to this process of realisation).

Believing is one. It’s in oneness. It is about oneness. And Shaytan is that one who is giving doubts, and nourishing doubts. That is his task. He is trying believers with doubts about their own beliefs.

If you have love for Allah Almighty, you are doing what He is saying. If we have love, the best way to express the love towards Allah Almighty is to listen and follow His orders, His recommendations, and the knowledge, which He likes to give to us. According to that, you may do. So that He is pleased.
