May Allah reward you endlessly for your intention to be part of this meeting. And we hope and we think it is a holy meeting. Not because we are holy ones — but we are holy ones also, yes, yes, everyone. Everyone is a holy one, very holy. Your heart is very holy. You find Allah in it. You will find Allah, subhana wa ta’ala. He was saying: „Nothing can contain Me in these heavens and the earth except one thing. I created it like this.“ And what is it? It is the heart of the mu’min.
“Neither My Heavens nor My Earth contain Me, but the heart of My believing servant contains Me.”
(Hadith Qudsi)
The heart of the mu’min is very holy. That means you’re all awliya, all of you. Don’t say, „What is awliya? Oh.“ No, no, everyone is a wali. He is so holy. You must know. If you know, you will be happy. If you know, you must be happy. You cannot be sad, and you cannot be afraid of anyone — of anyone, of anything from this dunya. No. For what?
This is what Allah, subhana wa ta’ala, created. He created us, our souls, and He gave us bodies. And everyone has a body, a special body. There are no two bodies the same, no two souls the same. Everyone is unique and everyone has a heart. Everyone has a heart, and everyone has also an ego. Ego was created by Allah subhana wa ta’ala, and nothing is created without wisdom — nothing, also not the ego. Ego has a lot of wisdom. As the Prophet ﷺ was explaining, it is your mount, your ride, with which you ride through your life. And that is not only through your life — it is meant to ride to the heavens, to make the journey to the heavens, the ascension, like the Prophet ﷺ did. He was there with Buraq. From his mount, from his ride, he made a Buraq, a holy one, a holy mount — and with that, he made the journey. And when he was there, according to the invitation of Allah Almighty, he asked, if this is also for his ummah, if they can also do this. And Allah, subhana wa ta’ala, He gave the answer: „Yes, yes, yes, it’s for everyone.“ If you are ready — it’s for everyone. But we have to educate our ego. Our ego is not Buraq. It is ego, dirty ego. And we have to be educated.
Did you ever see a man or a woman riding horse without a teacher? Ever knowing anything without teacher? No, you need a teacher. What to do, how you go left or right, and how to keep your horse. If you don’t keep it, it’s running with you somewhere. You have to be educated. You have to have a trainer. And that trainer is the Sunnah — the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, and the Sunnah of all Prophets. And after Prophets, the Awliya, the Friends of God, they are doing the work to educate us, according to the Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ. The last Prophet, he gave the perfect teaching, the perfect training — the perfect means to be clear in your heart, to get the pure heart and to control your ego. If we are controlled by our ego, it is not possible to get up. Anything what we do — if we are acting according to our ego, it is not possible to go up. So we have to be trained and never to listen to our ego, as the Prophet, he was teaching us. He asked Allah, subhana wa ta’ala,
„Don’t leave me to my nafs, don’t leave me to my ego, not even for the blink of an eye.“
(Hadith)
„Not for less than a second, never leave me to my ego.“ In other words, „Let me be with You always.“ How we can do this? We are weak ones. We are created weak. It is also for a purpose. It is also wisdom from Allah Almighty that we are created weak. And you have help, you have a big help, you have the help from your Sheikh. You have the help from your Murshid, you have the help from the Saint, from the Friend of God. He managed this, he realized it — his heart is free, it is clear, it has never anything from ego. Actually, he killed his ego. Such a one is a trustworthy one. That one, he is helping you.
How often Sheikh Mehmet is saying, „Be with Allah always“, Prophet is saying, „Be with Allah always“, Sheikh is saying, „Be with Allah always.“ How can you be with Allah always? You are not with Allah always. You are sometimes with Allah, sometimes with your nafs.
„Thumma amanu, thumma kafaru.“
(Qur’an, 4:137)
Very dangerous situation. May Allah free us from this. How can you do it? When you are stuck, and you are sad, and you are afraid — you are returning to your old habits, to your old traumata — or whatever they call it —, you must make rabita with the Sheikh. You must ask help from that one who can help you. And that is Rabitatu Sharifa. And in the Naqshbandi Tariqat, they say it very clearly, that the basis of it is Rabita. It’s a connection, your connection from heart to heart. Your connection from your heart to the heart of your Sheikh — that is the basic of the Naqshbandi Tariqat. And it is intended to make this always, not only sometimes. In your wazifa and in your wird, there is a special time, when you make Rabita. Yes. That is right. But the aim is to be always in Rabita — when you pray, when you make dhikr, when you work.
Some people, some brothers, they are saying: „How can we do this? We are working in dunya. And I get so much distraction, quickly distracted. I am busy with the things I have to do. I have to watch that everything is okay.“ — You must make intention. You must make intention before you start your work in the morning. Your intention, your niyat is to be in Rabitatu Sharifa always, the whole day.
„Kullu amalu bi niyat.“
(Hadith)
You make the intention. Then Allah rewards you according to your intention. He will be with you all day. And you are safe. You will reach Rabita all day and all night, InshaAllah. That is our intention. And Shaytan, he tries to prevent it. Yes, it’s like this. Shaytan, he is envious. He is driven by envy, he is envious. He is driven by enmity — mostly toward Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, then toward all human beings. He is very, very angry if the people are happy. And he is very angry that the angels make sajda in front of human beings. They make sajda in front of you — angels. Angels! What are you doing? What are you saying about another? You are afraid. You are sick, you are afraid, you are busy with — I don’t know what. And angels making sajda to you.
You think it’s a story? A story from … „Oh yes, it’s a story. Long time ago, we don’t know when this happened, that the angels made sajda.“ Now they make sajda to you. Now. If they see you, if they look at your heart, your holy heart, at the holy place, where you can find Allah, they make sajda. You are Khalifatullah. And we have to know. We must know this, we must put it in our consciousness. And what helps you if you are helpless? Because you are in traumata, you are in sadness, you are in depression. You cannot carry what is happening in the world, even you’re not supposed to look at it, it is not important. No. Allah knows best. Then you must make rabita, you ask help.
Who can help you? Allah can help you. Allah is a Helper and He helps you. He helps through His helpers. He puts someone — and that is your Sheikh, your Murshid. He is clean, absolutely clean. He is a Sadiq. He is helping you. You must make rabita. Say, „Oh my Sheikh, my heart is with you, I am with you, I am lost, I cannot do anything, I am paralysed, I am stuck, I cannot move, I am depressed, I am sad, I am … I cannot, I don’t feel happy, I don’t feel love. Help me. I put my heart with your heart.“
And you cannot put, but he can. He is listening to what you are asking. He is always listening. 24 hours, anytime, anywhere, all the time, he is listening — when you want to connect your heart with his heart. And he connects you. Not you connect. You cannot. He connects you. And then you are with him. He is with you. And you will see after two minutes, three minutes, five minutes, one hour, that the situation is changing, that there is help. Help is coming, the promised help is coming, always coming. We have so many witnesses to this, so many witnesses who are with us — who have been with the Sheikh for 40 years, 50 years, and who have been with Sheikh Muhammad for 20 or 15 years. We have proof and witnesses to it.
Don’t sleep. Wake up. There is nothing else. There is nothing else to do. Nothing. Don’t be distracted. Do your work but know that there is Allah. And be with Allah. Make intention in the morning to be with Allah all day and all night. May Allah help us, InshaAllah. And may He punish those Shaytan people, the soldiers of Shaytan who are against Mawlid. May He punish them and wipe them out quickly. And may He wipe out tyrants from this world, all these soldiers of Shaytan — everywhere, every country — may He wipe them out, InshaAllah. No time for them anymore. And to be with Mahdi, inshaAllah, with the good ones, with the brothers. And think about it. Think about yourself. And be busy with your heart. Be busy with what Allah gives you. And don’t interfere in anything else. It is a good quality for a Muslim to be busy only with what is his concern — not with what concers others, this is not a good attribute.
